Yellowstone

This summer I went to Yellowstone. It was awesome. We saw Old Faithful, and a lot of animals including, elk, deer, black bear, grizzly bear, fox, wolf, and moose. It was a great experienence. It was also fun getting to stay at a big cabin with all my uncles, ants, gramma, grampa, and cousins. We were having a family reunion. The cabin had a pool table and I love pool. My uncle Ned brought his boat because our cabin was right by a lake. We went boating, tubeing {don't go with Jeremey or Chad, they're crazy}, wake boarding and swimming. We also brought up some 4 wheelers. We would look for trails and explore them. It was really dusty. Those were the fun things we did in Yellowstone.

Jr. Olympics in Chicago

This summer after my vacation in Utah, I got to go to Chicago for the Junior Olympics-skills competition. I got to compete in rapid rally tennis where you hit as many balls as you can against the wall in 35 seconds. I got the bronze medal. We got to bring someone in our family for free and I brought my dad. We stayed in the Embassy Suites. It was one of the nicest condos i've ever stayed in. We got to see lake Michigan. We also got to go to Soldier field. In the locker rooms it was really fun. I got to see the Brian Urlacher's locker and the locker Brett Favre uses when he plays in Chicago. After we ate there we got to run across the field with our name being called out so that was a memory I'll never forget. I also got to go to my first pro baseball game and I saw some of my favorite baseball players like Derrick Lee, Alfonzo Soriano. I never thought I'd be at a Chicago Cubs game. It was so fun, we got to eat those hot dogs and see Wrigley Field. The Cubs lost in 3 extra innings. We also got to go to Dave & Busters and I got a lot of free tokens to play games all night. We also got to go to the Chicago zoo and it was fun because they had a lot more animals than over here. My favorite animal was the polar bears. I made a lot of friends there and we went to the pool together. It was awesome.

Guitar Hero Rocks OUT!

One of my favorite things to do is to play x-box 360. My favorite games are the sports games like Madden 06,07,08 and 09. I also like the more popular games like Halo 1, 2, and 3. I also love call of duty III and IV, but guitar hero and rockband are special because me and my family rock out big time playing those games. Another thing about x-box360 is the x-box live. I always play Halo 3 with my uncle from New York. (Okay, I just made that up. We don't have x-box live and my uncle lives in Ogden. I also, love the wii. It;s so entertaining, but besides having fun you're getting a work out at the same time. You got my of advice, go get the x-box 360!

Washington D.C Rocks!!!

This summer I went washington D.C for History Day. History Day is a required project in my school. I was just trying to get it over with when I won 2nd place in my school competition. My title was Jackie Robinson: Didn't he Sell Ice Cream? (I thought that was a funny title, but nobody got it). I was pretty happy because I got it over with, but later I found out that because I won I was able to go to the District competition. I improved my project for the Districts and was just happy to be there. I didn't think I would win because there were 40 other exhibits and mine was one of the smallest boards, but what do you know, I got in the final 3 again. At this point I thought I actually had a shot. I thought states would be a little hard so once again I had to do more researching. This time I was nervous because I actually cared. When I won I was so happy, I couldnt wait to go to Washington D.C. It was also pretty cool that my sister and two of my best friends got to go, so I thought the best prize was just going to D.C. I thought it would be impossible to win anything at the Nationals anyway. Washington D.C. was amazing. I had a blast seeing all the memorials, like the Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson, but what really got me was the Holocaust Museum. It was so sad to see their shoes. I can't really explain the feeling, you will have to see for yourself. I also enjoyed staying at the University of Maryland but that wasn't the best part. I got 5th in America and I also won a special award which included a cash prize. And Tatum won 3rd place with her group. That pretty much sums up my summer.

Practice

Today I got my trombone mouthpiece.

I have to practice at home until I get it right.

And I am practicing tying my knots for scouts.

This is the best way to practice tying knots.

Batman 2

Currently what is hot is Batman 2. I saw it a week ago and it was awesome. It has more action then Matrix and better action than Matrix. I thought it was the best movie I have seen in a long time. I also thought the best character was the Joker. He made the movie a movie I was glued to my chair. Even though I had to go to the bathroom I couldn't miss a second. That's why I thought it was the best movie in America.
